This came to mind today. A few weeks ago there was a huge outcry over the CEO's of the Big Three car makers flying private jets to Washington DC hearings. But if memory serves me correctly, Al Gore flew a private jet to his hearings before Congress and was squired around in gas guzzling SUV's as well.
Why wasn't he harassed about not driving his Honda Prius to DC?
