I am no liberal and certainly no fan of Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.). Still, when anyone is struck by something as severe as a malignant brain tumor, well, partisan differences look pretty tiny by comparison. I like to think that this is a time when we can join together as a concerned and caring people and do what we can for Sen. Kennedy and his family. I've been praying for his full recovery ever since I heard the news.
I would like to think that if a conservative, or even President Bush were struck with the same bad news that the liberal heart of compassion would show itself.
