An Interesting Dust-Up

Just across the border in Minnesota we find another incident involving the "religion of peace". The principal of a charter school run by the Muslim American Society of Minnesota decides to inflict his brand of peace on an unsuspecting TV cameraman.

I've been following news about this school as posted on Powerline. It seems that the school just can't get a handle on the concept of public school versus parochial school. Apparently the MAS/Minnesota folks were hoping that the state would fund the religious education of its kids. The strange part is that the state education bureaucracy got dragged kicking and screaming into this affair. Indeed, one state legislator is putting pressure on the Minneapolis Star Tribune to fire columnist Katherine Kersten who brought this matter to public attention.

What a tangled web we weave......
